What craft do you work with?

We offer textiles workshops from clothes repair skills to natural dyeing and printmaking for all ages and abilities.

What is Make a Mend?

From minor mends to reupholstery, textiles items – clothing and interiors can be revived. We work with you to find the best solutions using most eco-friendly options.

What is your background and interests?

Menna is an experienced costume maker and textiles teacher. In community and studio sessions, she shares a love of mending & creating textiles items using recycled & natural materials. Avoiding toxic dyes and sewing for a more sustainable future.

Tell us about the creative workshops run by Make a Mend

With an informal ‘have a go’ approach, we run ‘Stitch Up’ community project, Arts in Health sessions as well as workshops at local museums & galleries. Make a Mend creative sessions are designed for wellbeing and sustainable textiles skills sharing. We welcome enquires and ideas for collaboration, just get in touch!
