How the project will bring inspiration to hundred of artists in the region of Central Macedonia, Greece

OECON GROUP is an interactive enterprise, inspired by young people with fresh ideas and innovative solutions to support small businesses and create tailored business support services. It is established in Thessaloniki, Greece and has been working for the last 15 years with more than 10.000 local and international clients, bringing them closer to their success.

One of OECON’s main priorities is to support creativity and concept design of young artists from the region, helping them to interact with people from all over Europe and seek to support imaginative cultural initiatives that reinforce solidarity. Within the project CraftHub, OECON will support & showcase the wealth of the craft heritage and craft making skills of Greek artists, as Craft Hub sets up a transnational residency & skill development programme for craft professionals, a series of exhibitions & conferences, as well as a digital repository and material library.

OECON will be actively involved in all activities, giving the chance to local artists and performers to get inspired and develop their art pieces using the power of cooperation and knowledge exchange.

Meanwhile, exhibitions and showcases of all kinds will be hosted at the premises of the company, while we will also welcome a touring exhibition in the beginning of 2022, hosting art creations from Ireland, UK, Germany, Greece, Italy, Denmark, Norway and Portugal, and bringing them in touch with the local creative community to create synergies.
