Process & Production

The process is made during hand paper making.  The first sheet of paper is made, a textile introduced, a second layer of paper is laid on top, at this stage the pulp is soft and some of it can be removed, or pressed to emboss the texture of the inner textile.

Recipe Details

For the handmade paper, it can be recycled paper with an addition of fibres like wool, shredded textiles, etc. 

The textiles can be encased between the two layers while making the paper, some of the paper pulp is removed to show the textile and before pressing and drying the paper.
