Pattern inspired by ceramic tiles from the Alhambra in Granada

Process & Production

Rectangular piece of mild steel sandblasted to clean sprayed on both sides with WG Ball wet process enamel ground coat and fired.
Processes:
• Royal blue enamel sprayed on one side and fired
• stencil design created in illustrator, printed and transferred to silkscreen 77 mesh. Fired at 820C for 2 mins.
• White enamelling (Degussa firing paint) mixed with screen print medium and screen printed onto sample. Fired at 630C for 2 mins
