Royal Navy Ships have a carved battle honours board with the details of previous campaigns made under that ship’s name. The are traditionally carved in teak for it’s quality and use in the marine environment.

The wood is machined and then fitted by hand into the required shape. The ribbons, lettering and ship’s crest are all hand carved. The finish is a satin topcoat.
