The great tragedy that takes place every year on our poor planet: fires. They wipe out hectares of centuries-old forests, the lungs of our earth; even more serious if they are of an intentional nature. How can we fail to understand the true importance of nature? It is not easy sometimes to paint something that you need to stop. It is not easy to describe the emotions that an event of this relevance arouses in you..I felt, painting this canvas, a sense of impetuous “madness” as if I had to enclose in the canvas a fire that does not burn, harmless, still, immortalized in its apparent calm.
