Process & Production

Dye bath at 95% WOF (weight of fibre). Chopped root and simmered in water for one hour with added sodium carbonate, soaked for 1 ½ weeks.  Overnight dye bath with roots left in.

Cellulose fibres -two step pre mordanted with oak gall powder @12% WOF and aluminium potassium sulfate @ 20% WOF.

Protein fibres pre mordanted with aluminium potassium sulfate @ 15% WOF.
