Process & Production
Pigment re-worked by mixing a recipe given by Dionigi Marmi (n. 123) together with an experimental cobalt blue pigment. The yellow recipe was modified compared with the original.
Recipe Details
The yellow and blue pigment were mixed and ground together
Yellow pigment (PbO+Sb2O3+SnO2+NaCl+Fe2O3) + zaffer (SiO2+CoO 2:1) with 4% CoO in the mixture
