Pigment re-worked by mixing a recipe given by the painter Valerio Mariani who calls it “Potters’ Yellow” (see Y_5b) together with an experimental cobalt blue pigment. The yellow recipe was slightly modified compared with
the original.
Recipe Details
Yellow pigment (PbO+Sb2O3+ZnO+NaCl) + zaffer (SiO2+CoO 2:1) with 4% CoO in the mixture
