Culture & Context

The collages show the shapes of the city of Matera. Each piece of leather has a unique character. It is an effort to look at things and the materials that surround us in a different way. Often too much perfection is demanded in consumer goods. With the work I want to show that imperfect can be perfect. And at the same time shows a unique character. Uniqueness can be a key to sustainability. My idea is to create an archive of shapes that helps to reassemble cut pieces into a new whole.
