Process & Production

  • This piece is composed of a 680mm strip of 4mm (water jet cut) float glass.
  • Before firing, the surface was manipulated by screen printing with low fired white and orange glass enamel.
  • The three curves were formed during separate firings, in which one part of the strip was balanced over a former in the kiln, before having a long, slow firing between 580ºC – 610º
