Process & Production

  • This piece is composed of a 390mm strip of 2mm (water jet cut) float glass.
  • The holes in the form were also waterjet cut before being fired.
  • The curve was formed by balancing the glass strip over a former in the kiln, before having a long, slow firing between 580ºC – 610º
  • After firing, the form was tied with white thread.
