Inspired by traditional geometry construction using compass and straight edges

Process & Production

Rectangular piece of mild steel sandblasted to clean sprayed on both sides with WG Ball wet process enamel ground coat and fired.
Processes:
• white enamel sprayed on one side and fired 820C for 2 mins.
• jade and sky blue WG Ball enamels poured onto one side, dried and scratched into to reveal the white underneath. Fired 820C for 2 mins.
• stencil design created in illustrator, printed and transferred to silkscreen 77 mesh.
• Black enamelling (Degussa firing paint) mixed with screen print medium and screen printed onto sample and fired 630C for 2 mins.
