Process & Production
A material usually associated with the concept of twodimensionality, once filtered through the mechanics looms, come to life, acquiring weight and volume once extracted from them.
Green (fresh, moist) wood allows to turn so thin that the wood becomes translucent and flexible.
Airbrushed using red glass enamel mixed with medium on float glass
Laser raster and cut ‘cobbles’
Laser rastered and laser cut birch 4mm plywood created utilising a vector design on a laser cutter.
The material is composed of sea shells, eggshells and gelatine
This is a hand built firepit, with images drawn into the metal-work with a MIC welder.
