First pendant of the “recoveries” series. Composed of three movable parts representing the techniques I was experimenting with at the time. the last part is like a still-image: in melting scraps and pieces of silver to make an ingot, I saw the shape being created and liked to leave it that way, to remember that moment.

Culture & Context

Genre of workmanship that stems from a passion for collage and takes inspiration from the shapes that bench cuttings create in association with each other. This is work that proceeds in the form of improvisation. It puts together many technical devices and breaks a little from the patterns and canons of traditional goldsmithing. It plays on imperfection and asymmetry, it unbalances itself by losing itself behind a completely free and random inspiration.
