I am a practicing textile artist working within the context of sustainable crafts.
Q&A
Artist Statement
I was originally a fashion designer and then an educator with an interest in reducing the impact our clothes make on the planet. I undertake projects which question how we make, use, and re-use our textiles, and I also create site specific installations in museums and galleries.

What inspires you to work with this craft?
My textile artworks are often driven by methods of embodying memories and identities within garments using hand-made, organic, or recycled materials. Historic research underpins much of my work, which often references people, their occupations, and their social needs.
