Artist Statement

The traditional print on fabric, delicate and fluctuating, becomes volcanic, intimate and pulsating with the embroidered and painted presences, which create visionary and violent glimpses, the drama of existence.

What craft do you work with?

The project is an experimental work of block print on fabric, enriched by paper collages, miniatures, embroideries, textile elements and materials that makes up the narratives.

What inspires you to work with this craft?

The work is in progress and some “arazzos” will be completed by March 2023. The poetic journey, the shapes and drawings, the plants and geometries, have emerged from the stories of a people, in the territory of the Sibillini Mountains (Marche region).
