Artist Statement

Angela is a fused glass designer for the past 15 years. She curates the #10HandsCrafts group who are a listed Design& Crafts Council of Ireland GANS group working in Cork. She was invited to bring #10HandsCrafts show to China Craft Week 2018 where they were the feature country. She exhibits her glass art works in many galleries and with craft groups in West Cork annually. #WestCorkCreates #Aislinggallery #WorkingArtiststudios and #TheBlueHouseGallery.

Angela just made a special collection of fused glass jewellery for London Fashion Week 2023 for Irish Fashion Designer Paul Costelloe celebrating Dublin and Ulysses

Angela’s fused glass pieces are vibrant colourful and bespoke. She uses Bullseye glass in a kiln and fires to a temperature of 760’C. Often pieces are hand painted with glass paint plus many types of dichroic glass used for bespoke pieces.
