What craft do you work with?

Ceramics

What inspires you to work with this craft?

My inspiration is from life experiences and observations, resulting in thought provoking, inspirational outcomes.

How do you start your creative process?

Throughout my practice, I strive for excellence in my craft and believe that when we engage with that which has been thoughtfully designed and skillfully made by the human hand, it is a valuable, enriching experience; a panacea for our anxious, pressured life experiences in a too virtual world.

Are there new techniques you would like to try?

I enjoy experimenting with material and process, so each form is unique. An important layer of significance has been added to my work by researching and developing my own crystalline glazes, producing incredible crystal growth during each arduous firing
