Artist Statement

Basically, as a sculptor, I am interested in any material that triggers a curiosity in me to deal with it more closely. I always follow an impulse given to me by the material. the techniques then formulate themselves on the way as processual action.

What inspires you to work with this craft? 

There is no prefabricated or imagined vision of a finished work. Almost everything emerges from a prozessual handling of the materials

I also work very often with the surrounding space and found architectural situations.

In general, there is no preferred technique in my way of working
