Eleanna Barba
Ι was born in Thessaloniki and graduated in 2004 from the Department of Graphic Arts Technology, of the Faculty of Graphic Arts & Design, Technological Educational Institute of Athens.From 2005 to 2015 I worked as a graphic designer at Planitarium of Thessaloniki, while working also as a freelancer.In 2022 I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, School of Visual & Applied Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Printmaking Department, under the guidance of Prof. Yannadakis.Since 2017 I have been teaching Silkscreen Printing for adults, while in the past, I have been teaching handmade bookbinding, technology of Graphic Arts, etc.I have participated in group exhibitions, among others:"Imprints of the Process, honor to the teacher M. Giannadakis" French Institute Thessaloniki 2023, "The book as a work of art - Contemporary Artists & Books 2» A.S.K.T. 2018, "3xxx" French Institute of Thessaloniki 2018, "58+26" Jeni Jami, Thessaloniki 2017, "Ex Libris Asty", Vlassis Art Gallery 2017, "2nd Biennale Ex Libris - Ancient Tragedy" Artis Causa Gallery, Thessaloniki 2017, "7ply" Center of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki 2015, "Engraving Workshops Thessaloniki" Vlassis Gallery, Thessaloniki 2014, etc.Distinguished with a 'Gold Award' at the 2nd Biennale Ex Libris - Ancient Tragedy.
