Artist Statement
I aim to express the fragile sublime feel of my own encounters with the Moon through these pieces, where desire and ontology collide.
What craft do you work with?
Textiles – Glass
What inspires you to work with this craft?
I am interested in how we encounter the moon, from ancient civilisations to Shakespeare’s metaphors, the moon has long been viewed as a bewitching object of desire.
How do you start your creative process?
I have captured deep and textured surfaces which echoes the surface of the Moon in an attempt to diminishing the distance between Earth and Moon
