I'm a visual artist and textile designer - I draw and paint from observation, add a little bit of imagination and create silk scarves and linen wall hangings. Colour is important to me, but it may not be realistic.

Artist Statement

I’m a figurative artist working with reduced observed drawings and the theory that our cultural and natural surroundings influence us constantly. I try to capture the physical aspects of a person while reflecting something of their influences. I work initially with pencil and paint, creating designs on silk and linen.
