I am a mature student undertaking a BA in Design Crafts. Nominally working in the mediums of glass, ceramics and jewellery I have expanded my practice and ventured into other craft mediums such as woodworking, metalworking and enamelling, taking a conceptual and fine-art approach, so far based on my lived experiences.

What craft do you work with?

I am a mature student undertaking a BA in Design Crafts. Nominally working in the mediums of glass, ceramics and jewellery. In responding to the making briefs for the course in the early part of my first year I have expanded my practice and ventured into other craft mediums such as woodworking, metalworking and enamelling, taking a conceptual and fine-art approach, so far based on my lived experiences. I am looking forward to learning new and exiting craft skills and continuing to develop my practice. I am particularly interested in fabricating and restoring stained glass and stained glass painting whilst maintaining a diverse approach to my learning.
