Q&A

Artist Statement

My work to date. Multiply materials into one creative piece, as in my glass work in the project development My Asian heritage has given me the push to research further and that is how I discovered that most of my artist that I admire use Asian and Arabic styling with their own heritage infusion. This has all been a revelation to me as before I started my experiments, I had no idea of these experiments would come out as I expected. I consider the artworks that I have sourced are in line with my original plan to form a contemporary mix of pieces of art for wall tiles surface/panels. The 3D texture by using the materials of Ceramics fibre and wall tile design explore a variety of art including culture, style, and artwork, while constructing my unique taste in art. Also, the 3D aspect that I have now learnt has opened my eyes to a new sphere of pattern design. Learning new skills and understanding new materials and bringing my art into my work. Doing so would have strengthened my plan to create a pieces of 3D art wall.
