The process of the papermaking is vitally important to the work.

Q&A

Artist Statement

The complex structures of the fibres enables me to create sculptures without the use of glue stitching or armatures. Producing an acid free paper ensures the longevity of the work.

What inspires you to work with this craft?

Original inspiration the Foundling Museum. The Foundling Hospital was established for babies, young children who could not be cared for by a parent, hope faith and charity was provided. Today with war, flood, famine, earthquake and poverty these three virtues are still very much needed.
