Artist Statement

In my workshop I design simple and clearly structured products that have a clear requirement character. The general theme of my artistic work is the two aspects “with meaning and for the senses”.

What craft do you work with?

I mainly work with porcelain.

What inspires you to work with this craft?

On the one hand, sense – with sense – stands for well thought-out products. What is meant here is a very well developed design, which corresponds to the user’s requirements and wishes in terms of function, functionality and the choice of materials.

How do you start your creative process?

On the other hand, sense – for the senses – stands for creating multi-sensual designs. This is where products are created that offer the user numerous sensory-activating effects.
