Our business is based on a simple philosophy; we are deeply committed to making furniture to a virtuoso standard, with enduring visual appeal. As designers, we strive to achieve unelaborated elegance, with a restrained use of decoration. As makers and perfectionists, we achieve a consummate level of making, applying a combination of traditional hand skills, alongside cutting edge technology. In equal measures, we value craftsmanship, sympathetic design, intelligent material selection and the enjoyment and pleasure that our craft continues to bring to both us and our clients. In tandem with the design and making arm of our business, we run a highly respected fine furniture school. Since 2007, we have been delivering professional woodworking and furniture design courses to all ages and backgrounds – to individuals from all ages, backgrounds and from all around the world. With over 30 years experience, we have a passion for quality craftsmanship, beautiful functional design and teaching. A drive for excellence in creativity and making is always at the start of all our students’ journeys. Students come to us with varying levels of skills, from complete beginners – but we teach every individual according to their needs and can tailor a learning experience to best fit a students furniture interests and making aspirations. Our courses are delivered by award winning tutors.
