Process & Production
Juniper (leaf, twig and berries) used at 1000% WOF (weight of fibre). Plant material simmered in water at 80C for one hour, with added sodium carbonate, soaked for two days. Removed plant material before adding fibre. Overnight dye bath.
Protein fibres pre mordanted with aluminium potassium sulfate @ 15% WOF.
Cellulose fibres two step pre mordanted with oak gall powder @12% WOF and aluminium potassium sulfate @ 20% WOF.
