Οak leaf pressed with aluminum

I deal with Eco printing, which is the process of dyeing with natural dyes on silk, linen, cotton and wool and not on synthetic fabrics. It is a process in which I imprint natural materials such as leaves and flowers, directly onto the silk fabric. Ingredients that do not harm the environment, do not leave a mark, do not pollute. From the first moment I started with cocoons, I fell in love with silk.

Recipe Details

I boil or steam the fabrics accordingly. Boiling the fabric in a roll, and putting it in a roll again in the steam. wringing, i.e. is what we do before dyeing the fabric to stabilize the color that will be added afterwards, the spinning of this particular one is aluminum. It was pressed with aluminum. I also press with rust, that is, with iron, which makes the colors murkier, darker, grayer. When the fabric is washed and dried it is 10 times more beautiful. Its beauty is seen after it is washed, dried, ironed.
