Process & Production
The Beads are threaded onto the wire which is then twisted to hold the beads in the desired place. Most of the beads that are combined are second hand. The wire measures between 0,2 and 0,4 mm in thickness.
The leaves are made from lacquer and bended wire. By twisting the wire and shaping it into the desired form it creates the outline. The lacquer is applied with a paint brush or dipped into. Once applied, it spreads within the wire frame and takes about a minute to harden. To protect the delicate surface, a transparent hardener is applied on top of each leaf before they can be carefully assembled.
