Process & Production

The Birichen Blanket was designed in my studio as a sample fabric then sent to Bristol Weaving Mill to be woven on a micro production scale. They used my weaving notes, instructions and yarns to create the blankets on a loom wider than my own studio loom. The blanket was finished in the Scottish Borders then cut and sewn in the Arra Textiles Studio.
