Process & Production

The glass object Blue 1 is part of a “transformation project” where I research a combination of cast and blown glass. I use glassobjects I have designed before, break it into smaller pieces, and put them back together again. They are placed in a plastermold and melted in a glass kilm. The method is a kind of controlled coincidence. After the flat parts have cooled, I`m grinding and polishing the pieces. They are then reheated, formed into a core and blown into a three-dimensional object.
