Process & Production

A mesh of copper wire is shaped into a three dimensional form, then dipped several times in porcelain slip. The object is covered with a transparent glossy glaze. When fired to 1220°C, the copper oxide in the wire mesh reacts with the glaze components and brings out green/turquoise colour.
