Process & Production

Batches of concrete mortar is mixed with various colour pigments and minerals of different sizes and spread on a piece of thick textile. The textile is then rolled up like when making a swiss-roll cake and left to cure. When set, the roll is cut into round tiles on a stone saw. The tiles can be polished to a shiny surface due to the hardness of the material.
