Process & Production

Plant material used @ 500% WOF (weight of fibre). Soaked bark in boiling water and left overnight. 1 hour extraction at 80C before removing plant material and adding fabric, leaving in dye bath overnight.

Cellulose fibres – two step mordanted with oak gall powder @12%WOF  and aluminium potassium sulfate @ 20% WOF

Protein fibres – pre mordanted with aluminium potassium sulfate @ 20% WOF.
