Process & Production

The gold was dissolved in a solution of aqua regia (HNO3 and HCl) at 100ºC. It was added to a previously made glass base (composed of: SiO2, Na2CO3 and CaCO3). It was melted in the furnace at 1450ºC for 2h30, and the annealing process was carried out at 600ºC with a heating ramp of 350ºC/h for 60 min. It was annealed a second time at 650ºC with a heating ramp of 350ºC/h for 2 hours.
