Process & Production

    • This piece is composed of a 500mm strip of 4mm (water jet cut) float glass. The two holes in the form were also waterjet cut.
    • Next, the flat sheet was sandblasted on both sides, before being fired in the kiln.
    • The curve was formed by balancing the glass over a former in the kiln, before having a long, slow firing between 580ºC – 610º
