Storytelling

The sample is woven on a dobby handloom using beads to create the leno effect where warp threads a twisting for each weft yarn. Leno weave creates an open transparent and yet strong construction. In warp is used Rubco yarn which is a PE-core coated with polyurethan. In the weft is used a wool yarn with texture also named ondo yarn. The sample is heat pressed after weaving melting the Rubco yarn slightly creating a flatter surface.
