Traditional

Cotton ‘two step’ mordanted with oak gall powder @12% WOF (weight of fibre) and aluminium potassium sulfate @ 15% WOF, dyed with Madder exhaust bath. Post modified with ferrous sulfate @ 2% WOF. Screen printed with ferrous sulfate mordant paste, fixed with wheat bran and calcium carbonate. Over -dyed with Bramble dye bath (leaf and stem) to achieve black stripe.
