Process & Production

Pomegranate rind used at 400% WOF (weight of fibre). Plant material soaked in boiling water, left overnight before simmering at 80C for one hour. Removed plant material before adding fibre. Overnight dye bath. Post modified with iron (ferrous sulfate) @2% WOF. To achieve darker tone -over dyed with first exhaust (added liquid from re soaked pomegranate) and post modified with iron @2% WOF.

Cellulose fibres two step pre mordanted with oak gall powder @ 12% WOF and aluminium potassium sulfate @ 20% WOF.
