Culture & Context
The Feast of the Bruna is very much felt by the citizens of Matera, and my way of celebrating it is through drawing. One of the most beautiful parts is definitely the shepherds’ procession that starts very early in the morning. The boys at night are out and about in the city center waiting for July 2, “the longest day,” to arrive.
