I collect all fragments of shells and corals myself, proceed to clean them, and finally come up with an idea. The second process is transferring the idea to a design so I start sketching till I'm happy with the final design.Quite often is a title I came up with for the artwork that inspires the design. The gluing process is the final phase for the piece of artwork.

Q&A

Artist Statement

Naturally Quirky artworks contain a unique collection of original and handmade artworks made of my drawings, shells, and corals collected from all the stunning coasts of Ireland.

What inspires you to work with this craft?

Nature and mountains are my inspiration, while beaches are the source of my artwork.

How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?

I sketch and design every single piece of artwork in my little studio nestled in the Dublin mountains. That’s where it all happens!
