Artist Statement

We take some of nature’s most beautiful materials, including turf, tree roots, seaweed, sheep fibre and moss and handcraft them to allow nature to bloom all year round indoors.

What inspires you to work with this craft?

Based in the Irish midlands, Peat Art Designs was born from a love of art but also a love of nature. We use a variety of coloured preserved moss to ensure that no matter the season, your love for nature can be captured and presented behind an Irish handmade frame.

How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?

Each piece is hand-crafted using the finest Irish peat, preserve moss, nails, timber, wire and paper which makes for the perfect gift to share a piece of home with those living far away.
