Process & Production
Each piece is composed using two premade leather hard bricks. The bricks were cut into, and parts reassembled using wet clay. Splices were made across the one side of this new structure, then twisted to create movement. The idea is to introduce movement across a seemingly hard, structured object, challenging us to rethink the structural quality of a brick, whilst at the same time keeping the integrity of the ‘brick’.
