Leno weave with mohair

Storytelling

The sample is woven on a dobby handloom using beads to create the leno effect where warp threads are twisting. Leno weave creates an open transparent yet strong construction. In the warp is used white and red wool while the weft is a neutral warm grey wool mohair giving the sample a warm feeling.
