Process & Production
I created a simple jig to attach to an electric router/ cutter. This jig had several measured holes drilled into it. These hole enabled me to cut a wooden disk from the large plank- and then alter the diameter of the cut so I could dissect the disk into a series of smaller rings. This allowed me to get the maximum amount of pieces from one piece of wood with very little wastage.
