Artist Statement
| All my work is made on a sewing machine using free-motion embroidery, allowing me to draw on the machine. My thread has become my drawing tool and my fabric my artist’s palette. |
What craft do you work with?
| I’m trying to show you what might be the undergrowth of magical Fairy trees of Ireland. The Otherworld that is talked about in Celtic Mythical stories. As fairy trees are supposed to be gateways to other worlds. |
