Artist Statement

Although my favorite craft is sewing and textile exploration, I’ve through my art and craft studies been introduced to a lot of different materials and techniques, making my portfolio versatile.With a background from digital marketing, I find it interesting to explore technology in craft. My projects usually start by analog sketches, before I process my work digitally. I work in a Maker Space, which inspires me to explore how I can incorporate machines and digital tools into my crafting process. Laser cutter, Cricut machine, and embroidery machine are tools I often use. Nevertheless the digital focus, I like to keep some of the hand drawn expression in the final product.
