What craft do you work with?

18 years, develop art and crafts skills in all stages from the single module/building element to the spatial art and interaktive art in large scale in clay, bricks and wood elements, but also wider perspective with metal and glass. I am curious on cooperations with others in building

What inspires you to work with this craft?

Through arts and crafts it´s possible to express interpersonal experiences and develop understanding between us, beyond national boards and backgrounds – just being human.

How do you start your creative process?

looking for collaborations and frames to work against and within, crossing boarders

How would you best describe your workspace and what tools could you not do without?

My arms, head (eye/brain) and body, in different locations thats fits specific purpose indoors as well as outdoors. Making bricks I made models in wood, and press-form in wood and pressed with metal tubes, so knowledges in different materials and tools always important to grow. Never let an idea stop if not having skills or tools, just try to find new way

Are there new techniques you would like to try?

shellac and glaze, for reliefs pattern, and more clay/ceramic color understanding to grow

What have you learnt that you would like to share with fellow crafters?

Never let an idea stop if not having skills or tools, just try to find new ways, ask colleagues and share knowledges and grow network, but not give everything for free – we all have to earn money to live from and pay our bills. Freedom of speech with responsibility for all.
